Fresh Produce This Week 11-3

Today we will see 10 hours and 14 minutes of daylight with 8 days until most plant life stops growing, although there are exceptions like chickweed! Our student employees will now change their schedules for work here from after school to Saturday. There are exceptions: next Saturday our Team Leader and her brother (also a  Hillcrest employee) are involved in a quiz-bowl competition!

I finally have the Winter 2020 CSA forms available. I will attach them in a coming email on that subject, and will also have the hard copies with me at all future deliveries. If your membership balance amount is higher than $50.00, you don't need to sign up in November.

This week I am at the Family Fare parking lot on Wednesday at 12:00 noon, and the Allen Street indoor Farmers Market after that. Thursday afternoon is farm pick up, and Saturday I am set up in the parking lot behind Flour Child Bakery, 11:5-12: noon in Grand Ledge. Remember winter pick up is for pre-orders only!

Please see below menu for what we offer this week and let me know if I can help. Not on the menu are Red Beets and Broccoli because of the unpredictable harvest windows. I hope to see you soon!
