Providing naturally grown chemical free produce to the Tri-County community

Farm Store

Our produce is fresh, locally grown vegetables and fruit that we grow using commonly accepted organic practices (i.e. no chemical fertilizers or synthetic pesticides). We use certified organic seed where possible and save many of our heirloom and open pollinated seeds from year to year. All of our farm raised products are started from seed in our propagation “grow room” so we can control the quality of our produce from beginning to end.

About Us

Hillcrest Farms is a small family farm outside Eaton Rapids in southern Eaton County that we activated in May, 2010. The farm concept is a natural extension of our hobby with four gardens on one acre while raising our family in Ingham County.

We grew many plants and vegetables that we gave to friends and neighbors, and occasionally to a local food bank. We finished the lookout basement as a propagation room that gave us the learning experiences that lead to our present indoor “grow room”.

Farmers Markets

Allen Street Farmers Market

Our first market season in 2004 was just 10 weeks long, featuring 4 female farmers. In 2005, we became the first market in Michigan to accept EBT/SNAP food assistance!

Grand Ledge Farmers Market

Our goal is to make the Market on the Grand, formerly known as the Grand Ledge Farmer's Market, a destination for the whole family. As always the main focus of our market is to encourage our community to buy locally produced goods from a farmer you can meet and trust.

What Our Customers Say

We have been loyal CSA customer. Mark put so much effort into growing all the veggies. His salad has great natural veggie sweetness to t. Even my picky toddler who doesn’t eat salad at all only eats the salad I bought from him.
